Name: Current COVID Risk

WARNING: The API used by this app is no longer available. This renders the app useless. Sorry!

This is my first app: Determines the COVID risk level of your current location. It gets your current location and finds the current risk level for that location from covidactnow.org. The only locations that will work are the ones that are supported by covidactnow.org, which is USA and Puerto Rico.

If you find this useful, consider donating to https://covidactnow.org/donate.

Use the "Contact Developer" link if you have any requests or suggestions, such as additional devices or if you know of additional web sites that support more locations. I only work on this in my little spare time so it will take a few days for me to get back to you.

Usage:
======
Press the START button while outside so it can get your GPS location. You will also need an internet connection so that it can send to the request for the current level. You can update when you change to a different location or a different day the same way (by pushing the START button). Once you have a successful location, if you try to update while at an unsupported location (for example, you fly from Chicago to Prague) it will continue to show the level for that last supported location (Chicago, in this example) until you travel back to another supported location.

Known issues:
===========
I need to work on getting the memory usage down. If you find that it won't update even though you can get a GPS location and it is connected to the internet and your phone, it is probably getting an out of memory error. I'll need to get the program smaller and/or find a way to get smaller web responses. Hang tight, but feel free to let me know what your device is so that I know which ones have more problems. I've been able to get it run fine most of the time on a fenix 6s.
