This datafield provides an estimate of your VO2max from an 800m (or 400m in the full version), front crawl swim test, performed ideally in a 50 meter pool. This is useful if you are predominately training as a swimmer or unable to run or cycle to obtain a VO2max measurement. NOTE: If your watch does not have the Garmin native Pool Swim activity, then you can still use this datafield by enabling the "Use STOP button to indicate completion" setting, and manually stopping the activity to indicate the end of the required distance. If you want to use this app in open water swimming and your watch does not have the Garmin native Open Water Swim activity, then you can use a custom activity copied from an outdoor activity, like Walk or Run. Distance tracking should work using GPS.</p>
