Name: Weekly Running Distance Goal Widget

This simple widget totalizes the distance of all running activities recorded by your watch and compares the result with a configurable weekly distance target. The widget then displays your progress towards achieving that goal. The information is displayed on either a glance view (if enabled) or simple single graphic along with a current week trend.
The widget displays information in either km or miles, as set by your device, along with the % progress made towards achieving your target. There is also an option to display the distance needed to reach your goal.
Please note ONLY activities recorded by the watch are included in the calculations. Those created manually in the Garmin connect app or recorded using external apps such as TACX or ZWIFT and then synchronized to the Garmin connect app, are unfortunately stored separately on your device and not available as historical data. A possible workaround is to record the activity on your device in parallel and then delete the duplicate from any synchronized platforms such as Strava. This leaves a local activity stored on your device. 
As the widget analyses the FIT file data locally saved on the watch, clearing of the cached history will also clear your historical information.
Settings are available through the Garmin Connect mobile app to allow you to choose the desired target distance, define the preferred start day of the week, color preferences and also some data display options.
