If you regularly run, walk or cycle for a fixed time from point A to point B and then return, this data field will predict your total distance when you finish. It uses your average pace since the start, to predict the distance travelled at the end of your exercise. This can be useful since the default Garmin pace datafield shows your current pace, and not the average pace during an activity. It makes it easier to keep you on track to reach a distance and average pace goal with a fixed duration of exercise.</p>
