Stay motivated as you walk 2896 km / 1800 miles and discover 66 unique milestones, as seen in the books and movies, along your journey. Most milestones include some general information about the places and events that take place there.

This widget uses your daily steps and pace to calculate the distance you travel each day. This works even if you don't start an activity. It is available in English, German and Italian.

View - Overview:

The top distance is the distance you walked today. The bottom distance shows the total distance you walked.
The milestone name is displayed with the absolute distance from the start.
The percentage to the next milestone is displayed with the yellow ring.
(Press start/scroll left to advance)

View - List:

Displays all milestones visited.
The percentage to Mount Doom is displayed with the yellow ring.
To read the description of a milestone, tap on it or press start to enter the selection mode. Select the milestone with the up/down keys and confirm again with start.
For quick navigation in the list, scroll up/down or use the corresponding keys.
To exit the selection mode, press the back button (only for button devices).

View - Statistics:

Displays the number of days since the start. Also the average and record distance traveled per day.
To access this view, press the up/scroll up button within the list view.

Settings:

You can enable wheelchair mode in the settings (use Connnect IQ app on your phone). This only works on wheelchair-capable device like the Venu (3, 4) series and Vivoactive (5, 6). Then your distance is calculated by wheelchair pushed instead of steps.
